Speaking from experience, I know that it is  best to take ownership of one’s mistakes and errors promptly and responsibly.

In the Monday, Jan. 29 edition of the Niles Daily Star, my column “Speaking from Experience” informed readers of the Niles-Buchanan Meals on Wheels program and its many services to the community.  However, I wrote that the cost of Meals on Wheels is $4.50 per day instead of $5 per day.  This is an error on my part and I apologize to your readers and our clients.

Thank you and again I sincerely regret the mistake.
