I have written about imperiling the fresh water of the great lakes with oil pipelines, about the top 1 percent of the population in the US making 20 percent of the income, of the fact that the continuing use of fossil fuels threatens the world with mass extinction, and about the excessive amount our government spends on the military, among other things.

Now we are making excuses for liars and pedophiles in Washington.

There is no excuse for this mind set in our “Christian nation.”
