William George Rhodes, 90, of Niles, passed away on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at Pine Ridge Nursing in Stevensville.

He was born Dec. 9, 1927, in Niles to the late Clark and Stella Rhodes. He served in the U.S. Navy. William was a member of the Niles American Legion and Huntley Memorial Baptist Church. On June 25, 1968, William married Deloris Conn at a ceremony in Cassopolis. Deloris preceded him in 2005. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Rosemary Barns, and brother, Earl Rhodes.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamila Horvath; sister, Jane Clevenger; grandchildren, Christina King, Joseph Eckelbarger, Jessica Eckelbarger; great-grandchildren, Sasha Zidar, Brianna King, Annie King, and Katie King.
Funeral Service for William will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home Inc, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at hovenfunerals.com.
