Larnelle Forrest, 66, of South Bend, passed away at Healthwin in South Bend on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018.

Larnelle was born on July 28, 1951, to the late James and Vilee (Sterns) Lauderdale in Berrien Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ville Lauderdale; mother-in-law, Leora Johnson; and siblings Mitchell Lauderdale, Patricia Greer, and Joyce A. Johnson.

Larnelle is survived by her husband, Lewis Forrest; children, Rodney Lauderdale of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tammi (William) Foxx of Duluth, Georgia, Regina Lauderdale of South Bend, and Tyrone Lauderdale of South Bend; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Linda) Lauderdale, Eugene (Betty) Lauderdale, Linda (Charles) Thomas, Stanley Lauderdale, Timothy Lauderdale, Donald Lauderdale, Ricky (Pam) Lauderdale, Jeremy (Kelly) Lauderdale, Lisa (Gary) Smith, Brenda (Richard) Moreaux, John (Gayle) Johnson, Timothy (Karen) Johnson, Terry (Janice) Johnson, Albert Roseman, Ruby Thompson, April Johnson, Debbie Johnson, Paulette Johnson, Mary Johnson and Eddie Leroy Johnson; and many extended family members and friends.

Funeral Services will begin at noon on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Niles, with a time of visitation one hour prior to service.
