Ronald Edward Lotsbaich, 68, of Buchanan, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017.

Ron was born on Dec. 31, 1948, to the late John and Florence Lotsbaich in Buchanan. After graduating from high school, Ron went on to join the United States Navy. He later earned his Master’s Degree in Engineering. Later in life he opened a cabinet making shop that he operated for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lotsbaich and Florence Medlin, and brother, Bill Lotsbaich.
Ron is survived by his children, Kimberly Nelson of Buchanan and Steven Lotsbaich of Niles; three grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Saunders of Mesa, Arizona, Talitha (Roy) Mark of Buchanan, Michael (Linda) Lotsbaich of Niles, Roxann (Kenny) Crum of Indianapolis, Robert (Debbie) Lotsbaich of Buchanan, and Belinda (Johnnie) Hall of Niles; and many extended family members and close friends.
In keeping with Ron’s wishes a private burial was held.
