The Niles football program took part in the Salvation Army’s Christmas Assistance Program recently.

The team went to WalMart to shop for Angel Tree gifts after holding a workout after school and enjoying pizza.

Thanks to donations from families, player and coaches, the football team was able to purchase more than $900 worth of gifts for the Salvation Army.

Several members of the team then took the gifts to the Salvation Army Dec. 14.
