MISHAWAKA — The Niles wrestling team went 5-0 at the Henry Wilk Classic at Penn High School Saturday.

The Vikings defeated Culver Academies 51-25, Penn 29-25, Huntington North 51-18, Columbia City 68-11 and Zionsville 33-30.

Detroit Catholic Central also went 5-0 on the day. Edwardsburg was 3-2 after defeating Valparaiso 41-27, falling to Zionsville 45-24, falling to Warren Central 36-35, defeating Culver 42-38 and defeating Columbia City 43-36.

Going undefeated on the day for the Vikings was Austin Franco (126), while Caden Reece was 5-0 for the Eddies at 126 and Jackson Hoover of Edwardsburg at 132.

Niles is now 6-0 on the year heading into the holiday break.

The Vikings return to the mat Dec. 29 when they travel to Defiance, Ohio, for the Border Wars Invitational.
