MARCELLUS — Visiting Brandywine swept Tekonsha and Marcellus in non-conference wrestling action Wednesday night.

The Bobcats (6-3) blanked Tekonsha 76-0 and defeated the Wildcats 49-19.

Earning two wins on the night for the Bobcats were Searra Inman (1-3), Aaron Lauri (119), Hunter Heath (125), Mathew Cox (130), Steven Kendall (135), Zack Anderson (140), James Vaughn (145/152), Corbin Eckenberger (160), Grant Lerner (189) and Reese McKee (215/285).

Brandywine is now 6-3 on the season as it heads to the Caro Invitational on Saturday.

Buchanan at White Pigeon

WHITE PIGEON — Visiting Buchanan split a pair of non-league matches with Berrien Springs and the host Chiefs.

The Bucks defeated the Shamrocks 66-9, but dropped a 48-30 decision to White Pigeon.

The Bucks got two wins on the night from Dakota Cowan (152), Randall Draper (160) and Jarick Starnes (171).

Buchanan will wrestle in the Eau Claire Invitational on Saturday.
