Garry Shouse, 63, of Cassopolis, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017.

He was born Dec. 14, 1953, in Kansas City, Missouri, the third of four children born to James and Agnes Shouse. He married Debra Mavourneen Brand on March 10, 1973, in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives.

Garry was a full-time minister and an elder with Jehovah’s Witnesses, as well as a loving husband and father. He was always there for those in need.

Garry will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie Shouse of Cassopolis; two sons, Jeremy Shouse of Springfield, Missouri, Kyle (Christine) Shouse of Elkhart, Indiana; two sisters, Linda (Pat) Wyatt, Renee Compton; one brother, Bruce Shouse; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather for a memorial service at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 23247 Hospital St., Cassopolis, Michigan.

The family prefers memorial contributions in Garry’s memory be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses at JW.org.
