The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is conducting an ongoing investigation between Barron Lake and Anderson roads just off Pokagon Highway. SMCAS Ambulance and the Pokagon Fire Department are currently on the scene, according to the sheriff’s department. Authorities have been investigating since before 6 p.m. Residents are advised to avoid the area. More information will be available shortly.
