Merkling

Jason and Miranda Merkling, of Buchanan, are the parents of a daughter, Olivia Jasmine Merkling, born Oct. 22, 2017.

She weighed 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was 20 inches.

She has four siblings: Adrien Barger, 12, Riley Barger, 9, Wes Merkling, 14 and Sean Merkling, 13. Maternal grandparents are Jonathon Fesler, of Dowagiac and Maxine Perry, of Fort Myers, Florida.

Paternal grandparents are Laura Hall, of Benton Harbor and Lawerence Merkling. Paternal great-grandparents are Valerie Rutenberg, of Stevensville, Michigan and Charles Melendy, of Hesston, Indiana.

Anglemyer

Devin and Brittany Anglemyer, of Niles, are the parents of a son, Ryder Anglemyer, born Oct. 11, 2017.

He weighed 8 pounds and 4 ounces and was 18 inches. He has two siblings: Renesme Anglemyer, 8 and Adrian Anglemyer, 3. Maternal grandparents are Tonya and Keith Hutchings, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Dana Draper and Ben Anglemyer, of Elkhart, Indiana and Union, Michigan. Maternal great-grandparent is Yvonne DeKnikker, of Decker, Indiana. Paternal great-grandparents are Marcia and Tom Anglemyer, of Union, Michigan.

Shivers

John and Tiffany Shivers, of Niles, are the parents of a daughter, Aviana Shivers, born Oct. 13, 2017.

She weighed 6 pounds and 13 ounces and was 19 ½ inches. She has four siblings: Talaya Jones, 9, Maycee Jones, 7, Donna Shivers, 11 and Breonna Shivers, 6.

Maternal grandparents are Sharon and Scott Ehlert, of Niles. Paternal grandparents are Donna Watt-Shivers and Gonzales Shivers, of Dowagiac. Maternal great-grandparents ae D’Elda and Ken Ehlert, of Buchanan.  Paternal great-grandparent is Morgan Shivers, of Dowagiac.

Haynes

Deontae Haynes and Taylor Glenn, of Niles, are the parents of a son, Deion Haynes, born Oct. 16, 2017.

He weighed 7 pounds and 11 ounces and was 21 inches. He has one sibling: Deontae Haynes II, 2.

Maternal grandparents are Rodney Glenn, Angelnia Ellis, and Jennifer Glenn, of Niles. Paternal grandparent is Calisa Young, of Benton Harbor. Maternal great-grandparents are Cleta Caldwell, of Niles, and Katherine Glenn, of Berrien Springs. Paternal great-grandparent is Caroline Creamer, of Benton Harbor.

Mrozek

Killian and Casey Parish, of Buchanan, are the parents of a son, Rohan Mrozek, born Oct. 16, 2017.

He weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces and was 19 ½ inches.

He has one sibling: Aiden Anglemyer, 7.

Maternal grandparents are Trisha Mrozek and Todd Manolouits. Paternal grandparents are Rachel Saxman and Tat Parish.
