Bobcats square record with 4-3 win over Titans

ST. JOSEPH — Visiting Brandywine scored a pair of second-half goals to knock off Michigan Lutheran 4-3 in soccer Monday.

The Bobcats and Titans were deadlocked at 2-2 at halftime thanks to goals by Brandywine’s Aaron Lauri in the 12th minute and Eduardo Zamora in the 22nd minute.

Bryce Taberski gave the Bobcats a 3-2 advantage in the 44th minute only to have Michigan Lutheran deadlock the match once again in the 65th minute.

Grant Lerner, off an assist from Lauri, scored the winning goal in the 73rd minute.

Brandywine’s Nicholas Needham had 12 saves for the Bobcats, who are now 2-2 on the season.
