Two arrested on suspicion of selling crack

Detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team arrested two 36-year-old men Wednesday on preliminary drug charges.

A search warrant was served in the 200 block of Grand Boulevard in Dowagiac under the suspicion that crack cocaine was being sold from the home.

Upon investigating the home, evidence was found that crack cocaine was being manufactured and distributed from the premises.

Two men were arrested at the home on preliminary charges of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and maintaining a drug house. A third man was arrested on an unrelated warrant from a different jurisdiction.

The names of those arrested are being withheld until their arraignment.
