Lisa Maureen Wildeman passed away unexpectedly Dec. 27, 2016, at the age of 55.
Born and raised in Niles, she most recently made her home in Singapore. Upon graduation from Michigan State University, Lisa moved to Colorado, where she resided for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie M. Wildeman; two of her nephews, Joseph Ausra and Zachariah Zellmer; and her beloved cat, Dartanian.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Kevin Pool, and her stepchildren, Kelly Robinson and Austin Pool. Surviving, and deeply saddened by her death, are her father, Joseph R. Wildeman and stepmother Beverly; her in-laws, Paul and Veoma Pool; brother-in-law Grant Pool; her siblings, Beverly (Dan) Blake, Marcia (Bernard) Loomans, Gregory (Margaret) Wildeman, Sheila (Joseph) Zellmer and Robert (Jami) Wildeman; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Lisa was a free spirit whose greatest passions were skiing and sailing. Always a fearless adventurer, she traveled extensively, fulfilling many dreams on her “bucket list.”
Per Lisa’s wish, cremation has taken place in Satun, Thailand. A memorial mass to celebrate her life will be hosted Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at St. Joseph Church.
