Bonnie G. Quick, 78, of Niles, passed away at Wellbrooke of South Bend, Indiana, on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.
She was born June 6, 1938, in Huffman, Arkansas, to the late Leonard F. and Mary Lou (Sanders) Pruitt.
On Nov. 11, 1955, she married Bill V. Quick at a ceremony in Portageville, Missouri.
After moving to Niles, Bonnie worked for more than 34 years at the former Simplicity Pattern Company in Niles, where she worked as a pattern folder and machine operator. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning and interior design.

Bonnie and Bill enjoyed many years of camping, traveling and their horses. Her family was the love of her life and she valued time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill V. Quick, who passed Sept. 20, 2011; a sister, Betty Jean Pruitt; and brothers Leonard “Jack” and Lindell “Pete” Pruitt.
Bonnie is survived by her two sons, Timothy Quick (Janice Tesch), of Dowagiac, and Gregory (Verna) Quick, of Niles; two granddaughters, Ashley Quick-Shade and Malerie Quick; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Addie (Sonny) Perry of New Madrid, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, with a time of visitation for an hour prior. Interment will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
