Fright Fest debuts in downtown Niles

Business owner Matt Shaber of Rumor Has It record store, hid a paper ghost inside his store. He said that he choose to participate in the scavenger hunt, because he wanted to help the downtown promote the first time event. He said he even recommended that some of his employees volunteer at the event.

The first ever Fright Fest drew hundreds of people to the downtown area on Saturday.
A number of downtown business owners, as well as several volunteers throughout the community, collaborated to host a spooky fun event for people in Niles and the surrounding communities.
The mini-festival featured were games a fun house inside the former Riverfront Café, 219 Front St. and local businesses pitched in by participating in a scavenger hunt, where children had to find a paper ghost.
