The Niles History Center and the Community Development Department are collaborating to celebrate the rich history of the Fort St. Joseph.
The City of Niles is inviting the community and business professionals to participate in the free Business and Consumer Expo next to the Fort St. Joseph Open House Aug. 6-7 at Riverfront Park South.
This year’s theme is “The River: Flowing back in time.”
There will be a living history village, military enlistment, quill pen writing, canoe rides and much more.
This is a family event, so organizers are encouraging professionals to bring their team and promote their business. Participants will have the opportunity to network with more than 3,000 people while enjoying the festivities, according to organizers.
Booth space is free on a first come first serve bases. Electricity will be available.
Vendors are responsible for providing their own tables, chairs, tents and other supplies needed.
The Boy Scouts Troop 579 will provide sandwiches, hot dogs and snacks for purchase. Vendors may not sell any product.
Vendors are welcome to bring marketing and promotional materials, contest prizes, and interactive games to engage visitors.
Riverfront Park South is located on Bond Street in Niles.
