Mason, Ontwa township officials on Tuesday’s ballot

Ontwa Township will have a new supervisor in November.

Current supervisor John Bosler has decided not to seek re-election.

Seeking to replace Bossler will be Republican Jerry Marchetti, who is currently a trustee, and Democrat Jeremy Reece.

There are two candidates running for the office of clerk, including Republican incumbent Teri McNaughton and Republican Tina VanBelle.

Meryl Christensen, a Republican, is running unopposed for treasurer.

There are eight Republicans vying for four trustee seats.

Vying for the seats are incumbents Mike Mroczek, Jerry Duck and Jeff Kozinski. Also seeking a seat are Fritz Lambright, Dawn Bolock, Bill Mahaney, Bobby Donnelly and Dan Stutsman.

Ontwa Township residents can vote for these candidates during the Aug. 2 primary election.

 

Mason Township

Supervisor John Brandt is running unopposed, as are clerk Janet Dull and treasurer Arlene M. Chew.

David Allen and Jerry R. Myers are running for the trustee seats.
