Edwardsburg now has another grooming option, as Happy Hedz recently opened.

The salon, located at 69821 Michigan 62, recently hosted a ribbon cutting with the Edwardsburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

The business’ vision is to have a salon where all people can visit to receive services at a value price and yet expect high-end results.

The team of stylists has more than 43 years of experience and they pride themselves on creating a happy environment, someplace fun to visit and where everyone knows the customer’s by name.

The current team at Happy Hedz consists of Tracy Benjamin, Erica Horvath, Erica Wagner and Sonja Beutel.

Benjamin brings many years of both leadership and stylist skills. Besides being a stylist she also holds the position in the salon of development leader.

In this position she seeks, trains and continues to develop all team members. She also leads the team in teaching home haircare knowledge, helping to assure that all guests receive the ultimate experience.

Horvath also brings many years of experience and prides herself on her artistic ability. She continues to strive to grow her talents and to service guests exquisitely. She said she loves working with hair and prides herself in having knowledge of all aspects of it.

Wagner is the newest member of the team. She also brings many years of experience and loves what she does.

She said she feels her happiest when she knows she has made someone’s day by giving them the ultimate salon experience.

Beuel recently joined the team and comes from a corporate salon where she held the position of leadership for many years. At Happy Hedz she holds the position of team leader.

Together with Benjamin, she prides herself on the team success.

She said she strives to not only make the guests feel comfortable, but to earn the right to continue to service their hair needs through exceptional consultation, knowledge and service.

She and Benjamin lead the team and take pride that each guest receives the ultimate experience and value.

Happy Hedz carries the Aquage family of home haircare products. They also offer Kenra and American Crew for men.

Happy Hedz is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Men’s haircuts are $10 on Tuesday nights, while on Wednesday ladies night any color or perm service is $10.
