Conservation Club hosting hunter safety classes

DOWAGIAC — Hunter safety classes are being held at the Dowagiac Conservation Club on July 14-16.

Signup is from 6-7 p.m. July 6, 2014. There is no charge for this class.

People must have a birth certificate with them at the time of registration, and must attend all three classes to receive a Hunter Safety Card. Classes are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 17 and 18 and from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Classes will be held at the Dowagiac Conservation Club, 2 miles north of Dowagiac on M-51 North.

 

COA to host ice cream social

CASSOPOLIS — On Thursday, June 23, the Cass County COA will host an ice cream social from 1-2 pm. Seniors can enjoy free ice cream with toppings of their choice. Staff will serve ice cream from event sponsor Cassopolis Dental.

The ice cream social will be held at the Lowe Center, 60525 Decatur Road, Cassopolis. Call (269) 445-8110 for more information.
