ADRIAN — Jean A. Jacobs, 84, of Manitou Beach, died on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Terre Haute, Indiana to Donald Ford and Ruth Elizabeth (Quist) Faulkner.

On June 25, 1948, she married Daniel Thomas Jacobs in Terre Haute, Indiana. He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2006.

She had been employed by Howell Health Care as a respiratory therapist, retiring in May 2010. Jean loved her family, Elvis, game shows, and playing cards.

Jean is survived by three sons, Daniel (Bonnie) Jacobs of Niles, Michigan, Colt (Dee) Jacobs of Trufant, Michigan, and Ty (Philip Ludwig) Jacobs of Dunellen, New Jersey; a daughter, Gina (Andy) Noveskey of Manitou Beach; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Daniel, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Wes Jacobs; and all of her brothers and sisters.
