VIP ticket available to meet ‘The Sarge’

SOUTH BEND — Tickets are now available for a special VIP Meet and Greet with former Chicago Cubs outfielder “The Sarge” Gary Matthews Monday, June 27 as the South Bend Cubs face the Lake County Captains.

Matthews played for the Cubs from 1984 to 1987 and served as the organization’s minor league hitting coordinator from 1995 to 1997.

Included in the VIP meet and greet, is a seat in the Pepsi Stadium Club, two hour All-You-Can-Eat Ballpark Buffet (6 to 8 p.m.), a South Bend Cubs hat and the guaranteed opportunity to meet and get the autograph of Gary Matthews beginning promptly at 6 p.m.

Only 100 VIP packages will be offered and available for $50. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the South Bend Cubs Main Office or by calling (574) 235-9988. VIP tickets will not be available online.
