CENTREVILLE — The Dowagiac and Buchanan golf teams, along with Brandywine’s Jordan Mickiewicz qualified for the Division 3 regional at Lake Cora Hills Golf Course in Paw Paw Thursday.

The Bucks grabbed the sixth and final qualifying spot at Island Hills Golf Club after shooting 425 as a team.

The top six teams, plus top six individual not on a qualifying team advances to the regional.

Schoolcraft shot 345 to win the district championship, while Dowagiac was second with a 370. Comstock (373), Lawton (395) and Constantine (424) were the other qualifying teams.

Mickiewicz shot 91 to advance.

Buchanan was led by Ty Lorance, who shot 95.

David Brogan shot 90 to lead the Chieftains to the second round.

In Division 4, Cassopolis shot 360 to finish third and advance to the regional at Thornapple Creek Golf Course Wednesday.

Hunter Tietsort led the Rangers with a round of 83.
