A handful of Dowagiac Middle School students with the school’s Five Star program were on hand to assist Xi Delta Mu as they hosted the Cass County GOP’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner at the Mathews Conference Center last Saturday.

Students greeted guests as they entered for dinner, including special guests Michigan State Attorney General Bill Schutte, Senator John Proos and Congressman Fred Upton.

The students from Dowagiac Middle School were sixth-grade students Elyse Osborne, Brianna Shephard, Alissa Curtis, Haley Ottinger, and Ryan Robison and seventh-grade student Nik Shafer. Their coach, Becky Peters, accompanied them.
