Plummer receives Old National Bank Community Matters Scholarship

NILES — Edwardsburg senior Zach Plummer has been awarded the Michiana Region’s Old National Bank Community Matters Scholarship Award.

Plummer was chosen from a region-wide search for a student who has exhibited exemplary service to their community through volunteer activities.

Plummer submitted an application highlighting his extensive work in student council, National Honor Society and Students Against Destructive Decisions.

Plummer will be attending Albion College in the fall to study Chemical Engineering.

Current high school seniors or current college students, who hold an Old National Kid$ Start savings account or ONBU Student Checking account were eligible to apply for the Community Matters scholarship for post-secondary education.  Throughout Old National’s footprint, 11 students will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
