Dowagiac pitchers toss no-hitters at Tigers

ALLEGAN — Visiting Dowagiac used back-to-back no-hitters by Taylor Hulett and Megan Soderbloom to sweep Allegan 17-0 and 15-0 in Wolverine Conference softball Friday.

For Hulett, who also tripled and homered in the game, it was her fourth no-hitter of the season.

Dowagiac scored 17 runs on 19 hits.

Hulett was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, while Marrisa Dodd was 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs. Soderbloom was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Mickie Kiggins 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.

Shelby Jackson was 3-for-3. Natalie Davis and Hannah Whitaker both had two hits and combined to drive in three runs.

In the nightcap, Soderbloom was 3-for-4 with a double, triple and an RBI, while Alyssa Allen was 3-for-4 with two RBIs.

Dodd, Hulett, Kiggins and Jackson all had two hits. Hullett and Kailey Fear both doubled. Kiggins drove in four runs.
