Niles soccer blanks Battle Creek Central 8-0

The Niles soccer team blanked visiting Battle Creek Central on Senior Night Monday.

The Vikings raced out to a 4-0 halftime lead and never looked back.

Emily Gaines and Delaney Mudd both scored two goals for Niles, which also got goals from Chelsea Best, Kyra Grosse, Mackenzie Hall and Ashley Thompson.

Jaycee Myear and Best tied for the lead in assists.

Bailee Kessler recorded her first shutout of the season.
