John Robert Stull, 72, of Niles, Michigan died on Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born September 18, 1943, in LaPorte, Indiana to Richard and Josephine (Buzalski) Stull.

John was a United States Air Force Veteran and retired from National Standard Company after more than 25 years of service. He was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed fishing.

On May 1, 1965, John married Georgia K. Freund, with whom he celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary, just one week before his death. Georgia survives with their children, John R. (Rae Marie) Stull, II of Edwardsburg, Michigan and Amy M. (Bob) Kwiatkoski of Cheboygan, Michigan and three grandchildren, Gailge McGill, Delani Stull and Dillon Stull. Also surviving are John’s siblings, Ronald (Annette) Stull of Niles and Mary Jo Bond of Hartville, Ohio.

The Catholic Funeral Liturgy for John Robert Stull will be read at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at the Halbritter Funeral Home by the Rev. Thomas King C.S.C. of Saint Mark Catholic Church. Committal Rites will follow at Eastlawn Cemetery in North Liberty.
