How can you help fill our local food banks?

Put some non-perishable food items in a bag by your mail box on Saturday, May 14.

These donations will benefit those who have the need.

Take a look at what is on sale that you can donate.

The food drive is in need of about 75 volunteers to make this event work well. There are shifts of two to three hours.

You can follow the carriers and collect donations and take them to the post office, or you can help sort the donations.

Those couple of hours mean a lot to those who are in need, even if they don’t realize that you have done anything to help.

It is gratifying to do something to help others.

Remember, many hands make light work.
