As part of its ongoing outreach efforts in the community, the Beckwith Theatre is looking to work with any interested middle and high school actors to produce a one-weekend comedy show this summer.

Beckwith actors will be working on a one-act play, “Check Please,” which involves a series of short, funny two-person blind date encounters.

There are roles for up to 30 actors, and there may be more than one role for actors, depending on the turnout.

Auditions for the play will be held at 3 p.m. June 8 and 9 at the Beckwith Theatre.

Rehearsals will dates will be 1 to 4 p.m. June 11–16. Individual actors will not always need to be there the entire time

The show itself will run at 7:30 p.m. June 17 and 18.
