Oct. 20, 1947 — April 29, 2016

Richard Arthur Rauch, Sr., 68 of Buchanan passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, at IU Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Richard was born on Oct. 20, 1947, to the late Ernest and Eva (Patton) Rauch in Buchanan, Michigan.

He was a graduate from Buchanan High School and a United States Army Veteran. Richard enjoyed playing fast pitch softball and was an avid golfer. He coached a lot of children through many different sports in the Buchanan community.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Winkel, Mickey (Angie) Rauch and J.R. (Alesha) Rauch; grandchildren, Brittany Unger, Brock Winkel, Carter Rauch, Emma Rauch, Alexis Rauch, Ellie Rauch and Gracie Rauch; great grandchild, Braxton Winkel and brothers, Bill (Donna) Rauch and Jack (Carol) Rauch.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held for Richard at 6 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2016, at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan with a luncheon to follow at the Buchanan American Legion.
