Cassopolis second, Buchanan third at BCS Central jamboree

White Pigeon and Cassopolis are tied for first place in the BCS Athletic Conference Central Division standings after the Chieftains captured the jamboree at Orchard Hills Country Club Thursday.

The Chiefs, led by medalist Jordan Olsen’s 39, shot 195 as a team.

The Rangers were second with a 205, while host Buchanan shot 216, Brandywine 218 and Howardsville Christian 219.

Garrett Green led Cassopolis with a 50.

Buchanan was led by Ty Lorance’s 43, while Jordan Mickiewicz shot 49 for the Bobcats.

Cassopolis and White Pigeon are tied with seven points each, while Buchanan is third with four points. Brandywine and Howardsville Christian both have one point.
