The Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for GateWay Services at the organization’s Niles office, which is located inside the former Andrew Carnegie Library at the corner of Main Street and N. Fourth Street in Niles.

GateWay provides supports and services to individuals with disabilities and other barriers, helping them to remain independent in their homes and communities. These services include vocational and independent living services.

GateWay’s main office is located at 1440 E. Empire Ave. in Benton Harbor.

GateWay leaders said they felt very strongly about establishing a presence in Niles in order to provide the families it serves and the staff it employs greater access to its services.
