Here I go again, putting in my two cents worth: A solution to the present complaint from the LGBT group about restroom access in schools.

I suggest that the restrooms be redesigned to have individual toilets with locked doors and walls from ceiling to floor.  As the person leaves the individual toilet, they would be in a large area with hand washing and drying stations.

The door leading to the area would have the male/female/wheelchair access symbols.  There would be no need for urinals or extra commodes.
