Visiting Dowagiac was swept by Edwardsburg 5-1 and 6-3 in Wolverine Conference baseball Tuesday.

The Chieftains were done just a run in both games, but were unable to keep the Eddies from scoring late.

“Tonight we played well,” Dowagiac coach Dan Schuchardt said. “Offensively we did strike out looking 11 times, which I think limited our runs but tonight was all around good baseball by both teams.”

Joe Raab and Mason Mitchell both doubled for the Eddies.

Brenden Dudley had a double in the first game, while Collin Hassle and Mack Charles both doubled in the nightcap.

Dowagiac travels to Otsego today.
