Upcoming history museum lecture rescheduled

DOWAGIAC — Due to a scheduling conflict, the “Southwest Michigan Eats: Food and Culture of Southwest Michigan” program by Daysha Amster at the Dowagiac Area History Museum has been postponed.

The event was to occur on Wednesday, but it has been rescheduled to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 18.

Beckwith Theatre seeking helpers for spring cleanup

DOWAGIAC — The Beckwith Theatre will host a spring cleanup from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. All are welcome to stop by at any time to assist in cleaning and organizing areas such as lights/sound equipment, lumber/flats, costumes, props/set pieces and furniture.

The theater is located at 100 New York Ave., Dowagiac.
