Authorities have released the names of the two suspects arrested in connection with a drug task force raid that took place within Dowagiac city limits last week.

Angelic Meade, 42, of Dowagiac, and Billy Roden, 34, were arraigned in Cass County Court Friday afternoon, where they were charged with conspiracy to operate/maintain a lab involving methamphetamine, operating/maintaining a lab involving methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine. Meade was also charged with a count of possession of an analogue substance.

Both suspects are being held on $40,000 bond.

The pair was arrested following the execution of a search warrant of a residence in the 200 block of McOmber Street in Dowagiac by detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team last week Wednesday. During their search, police officers located three meth labs inside the house’s garage, as well as additional two labs inside a car parked at the residence.

A search of Meade also found she was in possession of methamphetamine. Officers also looked inside a second vehicle parked on the property, finding more of the drug and as well as paraphernalia.

Both Meade and Roden are scheduled to next appear in court at 1:30 p.m. April 14.

Roden is listed as being homeless.
