For the second time since March 1, Niles is sending a softball player to Ancilla College.

Following in the footsteps of teammate Tegan Bays, who signed with Ancilla March 1, Michelle Crouch will also continue her academic and athletic career with the Chargers.

“I like the way Ancilla is set up and the environment fits me,” Crouch said. “I feel like I will be focused there and get done what I need to get done. I feel like I will get all the help I need to succeed and get my education at Ancilla.”

Crouch, who hit .354 with three doubles last season, said she was also looking at Ferris State University, Kalamazoo Community College and Olivet College.
