Nancy Pearl Wilson, 81, of Niles, Michigan died at 9:50 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 (Easter of 2016) at West Woods of Niles following an extended illness.

She was born on July 27, 1934, in Chicago, to Pearl Caesar who died in the birthing process. Nancy was adopted by Roy Myrtle Wilson who raised her in Wheaton, Illinois. She was employed for many years at Wheaton College, and has lived in Niles since 1990.

Nancy was an active resident of the West Woods of Niles community, participating in every worship service offered, every outing and road trip, and all of the table activities, especially jigsaw puzzles and bingo.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and by her sisters, Eunice Wilson and Odette Wilson Acuna.

Surviving family includes a brother-in-law, Antonio Acuna and nieces and nephews, Tony (Shelly) Acuna, Alexandra (Jim) Driscoll, Roy (Susan) Acuna, Victoria (Luis) Perez, and Billy (Danielle) Acuna; and all of their children.

The family of Nancy Wilson will gather privately to share memories and honor her life. Interment will be on the family cemetery lot in Chicago.

Contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to the Patient Activity Fund at West Woods of Niles for jigsaw puzzles. Arrangements were made at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.
