The Cass County COA will host its annual Trivia Night from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, April 16,

During this event, presented by Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital, teams of up to eight people will compete for a grand prize of $300. A meal prepared by the COA’s culinary team is included for all competitors.

Proceeds from Trivia Night support the COA’s Handy Helpers program. The Handy Helpers are a team of dedicated volunteers who build wheelchair ramps and make safety improvements to the homes of older adults in Cass County. Funds raised from Trivia Night allow the COA to cover the cost of lumber and other materials needed for the program.

“We are honored to be presenting sponsor of such a worthy cause—Cass County COA’s annual Trivia Night,” said John Ryder, chief operating officer, Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital. “Like Borgess, the COA is dedicated to enhancing life for those who are often the most vulnerable in our community. Through a variety of engaging, enriching programs, including Handy Helpers, they are making a profound difference every day in the lives of older adults and their caregivers.”

This year’s Trivia Night will take place at the COA Lowe Center, 60525 Decatur Road, in Cassopolis. The event is sold out. If you would like to make a contribution toward the event to support the Handy Helpers program, call Stacy at (269) 445-8110 or email stacys@casscoa.org.
