The Four Flags Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting March 2 for On Sight Armory.

The Four Flags Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for On Sight Armory of Niles, on March 2.

On Sight Armory, which is located at 919 Michigan St., has been manufacturing parts for the hunting industry since 1998.

The manufacturing of firearms started in February 2014 when the business obtained its Federal Firearms License and began operating out of a 9,000-square foot facility.

On Sight Armory offers a number of firearms products, including AR-15 components, gas blocks, hand guards, machining, cerakoting and 80-percent lowers. It also offers retail handguns and accessories in the front of the store.

Owner Kyle Millin joined his father in 2000 and has continued to successfully expand the business.

On Sight began as a part-time, two-person operation that has grown into a 15-member employee base with more expansion expected in the future.

On Sight has continued to outgrow its space and is looking at future sites in which to expand and provide jobs and opportunities to the greater Niles community.

For more information, stop the store, visit the website onsightarmory.com or call (269) 635-3691.
