Local event to feature Boy Scout memorabilia

The two-day, Four Flags Trade-O-Ree features the buying, selling and trading of Boy Scout memorabilia and silent auctions.

It will take place from noon to 10 p.m. Friday, April 8, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at St. Mary’s Catholic School Gym, which is located at 217 S. Lincoln St., in Niles.

A snack bar will be available.

The hobby of collecting scout memorabilia varies greatly and can include uniforms, awards, handbooks, advancement pamphlets, postage stamps, magazines, camping equipment, photographs, coffee mugs, patches, badges, compasses, flashlights, pocket knives, toys and games and more.

The regular admittance fee is $2 at the door and scouts in uniform can come at no charge.
