Joan F. McMenamin, formerly of Niles

Feb. 20, 1922 — March 10, 2016

Joan F. McMenamin, 94, of Port Richey Florida, and formerly of Niles Michigan, and South Bend, Indiana, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1922, daughter of the late Herbert F. and Cleo M. Forbes. Joan was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, George E. McMenamin, an infant son and her siblings Virginia Curtis, Margaret Hewitt, and Herbert H Forbes.

Joan is survived by her nieces and nephews, Andrea (Robert) Wetmore, Stephen (Peggy) Curtis, Mark Curtis, Mary (Lynn) Speck, Nan (Kenneth) Olney, Diane (Thomas) Filstrup, Lorraine (David) Casey, Elizabeth (Timothy) Winquist, and Mark (Jean) Hewitt.

Memorial contributions can be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, Florida 33760.

Interment will be in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
