Ruby Lois Finch Shepard, 77, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Wednesday morning, March 16, 2016, in the loving arms of her daughters, Sandy and Lynne at Lakeland Health Center in Niles, Michigan.

She was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Leachville, Arkansas, to Garlin and Doris (Moss) Finch. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ray Finch; and one daughter, Peggy White.

Ruby will be fondly remembered for her love of God, her gentle nature and her favorite color: orange.

Ruby will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her three daughters, Sandy (Tom) Rodgers of Jones, Michigan, Lynne (Brett Romig) Belew of Cassopolis, and Marilyn Hall of Lawton, Michigan; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Lil Miller, Betty Miller, Shirley Pate, Carolyn Shepard and Judy Tackett, all of Arkansas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Sunday, March 20, 2016, from 11 a.m. until time of family remembrance at noon in Connelly Chapel Wagner Family Funerals, 202 North Broadway Street, Cassopolis.
