Residents already into digital scrapbooking or looking for a new method preserving memories for future generations are encouraged to sign up for a special class next month at the Dowagiac District Library.

The library and the Pokagon Band have partnered with the digital storytelling company nDigiDreams to provide a unique, three-day workshop from April 19-22.

Using personal pictures and mementos, participants will work one-on-one with experts to digitally record their experiences as parents. By the end of the workshop each participant will have his or her own professional-looking video to keep, as well as an opportunity to show the video at the Dowagiac District Library Saturday, April 23 at a special presentation, if they so choose.

Signup for the course starts Saturday, March 19, at www.pokagonband-nsn.gov. Space is limited.

More details are available on the Library’s website and Facebook page, or by calling 782-3826. This program is part of the 2016 One Story Community Reading Project.
