Thomas Ray Turner, 82, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Golden Living Center in La Porte.

Thomas was born on Dec. 7, 1933 in Watson Run, Pennsylvania to Ferman and Betty Turner. On Sept. 23, 1967, Thomas married Lillie Wiltfong.

He is survived by his children, Marsha Morton, Debbie Protasio, Kathy Woodcock, Timothy Turner, Daniel Turner, Cindy Young; sisters, Eloise Lary, Linda Bowlen; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Ferman and Betty; first wife, Donna; second wife, LeLa; third wife, Lillie; three infant sons; sister, Shirley Abbott; and brother, Larry Turner.

A memorial service will be held by the family at 4 p.m. March 20, 2016, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1205 E. Jefferson Ave. La Porte, IN 46350. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan. Online condolences may be made at www.hovenfunerals.com
