Nearly 20 local children took to the fields of Rolling Hills Hunt Club outside Marcellus Saturday to participate in the 2016 Youth Hunt, sponsored by Cass County Pheasants Forever and the Dowagiac Conservation Club. During the event, children were paired up with instructors and canine trackers to hunt down farm raised pheasants. The event is designed to let children practice their hunter safety skills in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
