On May 4, 1952, Betty wed Lawrence J. “Bip” Kline at a ceremony in LaPaz, Indiana.

Betty enjoyed singing with her husband, playing the organ, but most of all Betty found that being a mother was an absolute joy. She was a gifted artist making crafts, decorating wedding cakes and ran a small upholstery business. Betty was a talented Real Estate agent, enjoying the opportunities to help others find their perfect home; this career provided another outlet where Betty could help others. After retirement, Betty and Bip spent many years enjoying their time in Florida where she volunteered in many capacities. Betty was a strong, independent and loving woman and passed that trait to her children. Betty had an open door to her community, welcoming everyone to dinner. Betty, Bip and their families have wonderful memories of the many summers spent on Barron Lake.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Shelly Fassett in 2015, her brothers Bob Good and Devirl Good, and her sister Jean Martin.

Betty is survived by her children Sheryl (John) Kring of Niles, Pam (Woody) Myland of Niles, Brenda (Erich) Teshka of Niles and Kalene (Arlen) Belisle of Neenah, Wisconsin, her brother John (Wanda) Good of Grand Rapids, a sister-in-law Alice Good of Plymouth, Indiana and a brother-in-law Glenn Martin, her twenty grandchildren and her 29 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation for Betty will be Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 3-6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with services Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. An interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend.
