The county prosecutor’s office has released the names of the trio of suspects in the recent spat of county drug arrests made by the drug enforcement team, following the individuals’ arraignments in court Tuesday.

Michael Hodge, 47, of Dowagiac, was charged with possession of cocaine, habitual offender second, in his appearance in court that day. He is currently being held on $20,000 bond.

Hodge was arrested Saturday, after detectives with the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant on a residence on Cass Avenue in the City of Dowagiac, under suspicion that drug use was taking place there. Police discovered several items that indicated cocaine was being used there, with a search of Hodge’s person uncovering several small bags of cocaine, police said.

Also arraigned Tuesday were 50-year-old Marina Cloud, of Union, and 47-year-old Basil Rowe, of Edwardsburg, who were charged with possession of methamphetamine. They are both being held on $35,000 bond.

The pair was arrested in connection with a search of a residence on Kessington Road in Mason Township by drug team detectives, which also occurred Saturday. During the search, police discovered meth and meth paraphernalia inside the home.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team made another drug-related arrest within the city of Dowagiac Tuesday, after police discovered crack cocaine, crack cocaine paraphernalia and evidence of crack cocaine sales inside a residence in the 100 block of Andrew Street. Authorities have yet to name the 57-year-old woman in custody until her arraignment in Cass County court, which is scheduled to take place Thursday afternoon, according to the Cass County Prosecutor’s Office.
