With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, people are invited to experience some traditional Irish music Saturday at Dowagiac’s Beckwith Theatre Company.

The community theater once again hosts South Bend Irish musical group Kennedy’s Kitchen, with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event cost $20, and include hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

Started in 1998, the six-person group specializes in all things Irish — from pub songs to sentimental ballads, with some sing-a-longs and storytelling thrown in as well. The band has performed in front of Beckwith audiences for the past seven years.
